U-ball live: BBC sports commentator Mark Lawrenson believes Wolves will beat Arsenal when the two sides meet at Molineux Stadium on Thursday. The Gunners failed to win their last two league games and have yet to win a game in 2022.Their last win came against Norwich City on Boxing Day 2021, so they have stalled badly.Wolves, on the other hand, have been in good form in the Premier League. However, they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Norwich City last weekend.Lawrenson explained that Mikel Arteta’s side will struggle to break down Wolves’ impressive defence. He predicted wolves would win 2-0: “Wolves came to Norwich from the FA Cup last weekend, but their Premier League form has been impressive since the start of the year.Bruno Laga’s side were excellent in defence. That means they can perform fairly evenly in the future and still have a chance to win because they are so consistent. They have conceded just 16 goals in 21 league games so far.I don’t think Arsenal will knock them down either.Arsenal have struggled this season and it remains to be seen whether things will improve after the winter break. The North London Giants failed to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window. They are looking for a goal scorer but have not signed anyone. There is no way to predict how the team will cope without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the second half of the season.Although the Gabonese star was a fringe figure towards the end of his emirates career, he was an experienced player who scored plenty of goals.
